Dr. Fahel gives a very comprehensive examination. He takes his time to ask lots of questions, and answers any questions you might have in a very relaxed manner. His office is a medical spa, which is basically a doctors office in a spa atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>There was no wait for my appointment, and while the visit was not cheap if you dont have insurance ($225), I felt every penny was well spent.<\/p>\n<p>If you have unresolved medical issues, this is just the type of doctor that can figure out whats wrong with you. I&#8217;m not into hyperbole so I&#8217;ll say this absolutely straight: I don&#8217;t know if MboD is the best doctor&#8217;s office in the country, but I think it&#8217;s a distinct possibility, and for sure it&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>by far<\/strong>\u00a0the best I&#8217;ve ever personally experienced.<\/p>\n<div id=\"Testi5\" class=\"testi-collapse collapse in\" aria-expanded=\"true\">\n<p>Having had several doctors as I&#8217;ve moved around the country here is what I expect a normal appointment to be:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; You wait 5 minutes in a drab waiting room full of sick people.\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; A receptionist calls you up and gives you paperwork to fill out. The paperwork is lengthy and redundant, often several questions are asked more than once on different pages.\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; You wait 10-15 minutes in the waiting room while they file your paperwork and determine your copay\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; A reception calls you up and you pay your copay\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; You&#8217;re led to an exam room by a receptionist\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; You wait 5 minutes trying to stave off the boredom by reading the tacky motivational posters\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; A nurse comes and takes your vitals\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; You wait 5 minutes and start counting the number of cue-tips in the jar\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; A nurse practitioner (not really a doctor, but pretty close) comes in and asks about your symptoms. They poke\/prod you as needed then write out a prescription, half explain what they think you have and what the prescription should do\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; You drive to the nearest pharmacy and get your prescription\u00a0<br \/>&#8211; In total you spend 30-45 minutes waiting and 3-4 minutes with a nurse practitioner who only half listens and only half explains. They also have an annoying habit of only wanting to discuss the major issue you&#8217;re having and don&#8217;t want to spend time answering any minor questions you have that aren&#8217;t related to it (&#8220;hey doc, while I&#8217;m here&#8230;&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><strong>MboD is SUCH A BETTER EXPERIENCE.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Several months ago I developed a bad rash on my face and treated it with over the counter ointments for a few days. It continued to get worse so I google&#8217;d the nearest doctor (I had just moved to the area) and saw &#8220;medical spa&#8221; and assumed they didn&#8217;t do normal doctor&#8217;s appointments, but since they were the closest to my apartment I gave them a call and to my surprise they said they&#8217;d be happy to see me and that they accepted Aenta.<\/p>\n<p>I walked in to a beautiful, clean, spa-like waiting room with only one person waiting to be seen. The receptionist greeted me with a smile, greeted me with &#8220;you must be Doug&#8221;, took my insurance card and gave me a very reasonably sized form to fill out with my medical history (no duplicate questions!), she (imagine this&#8230;) determined my copay while I filled out my medical history so that 5 minutes later when I gave her my completed forms she already knew my copay and took it right then. I didn&#8217;t even make it back to my seat when the doctor, himself, came out to greet me and walk me back to the exam room. The doctor himself took my vitals while he asked me about my symptoms. He took a picture of the rash in case he needed to reference it later. He asked me several followup questions and really seemed to care about making sure he understood my answers. Then he explained what he thought the rash was, what he was going to prescribe me, and how quickly I should expect it to take effect. To boot he gave me his personal email address and told me he wanted me to update him in a few days. The whole thing took 15 minutes, most of which was because the doctor took the time to really listen to me and to fully explain things. A few days later the rash had cleared up and when I emailed him and he replied in under an hour.<\/p>\n<p>If this seems too good to be true I don&#8217;t really know what to say. I&#8217;ve been back twice since then (once for an annual exam and once for a cough). Both times I was seen (by the doctor himself) within minutes of walking in the door and found him to be equally attentive and thorough as the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Since he accepts my Aetna insurance the price is the same as any other doctor.
