MBOD MEDICAL SPA

In 2003 and 2004, Dr. Fahel and his wife Tania Camacho decided to travel abroad.  It was after a trip to Baden Baden, Germany and visit to one of the medical spas there that the concept for MboD Medical Spa was born.

Dr. Fahel and Tania realized the importance of providing patients with a beautiful relaxing environment to help reduce the stress involved in a medical visit. In addition, they studied the major complaints patients had when visiting doctors.  Double and triple bookings, lack of communication, understanding test results, crowded waiting rooms and long waits were the most common.  In 2005, MboD Medical Spa opened its doors addressing these mayor complaints with online registration, on time appointments, and direct communication with the doctor,all in a spa like environment.  Welcome to MboD Medical Spa!

GHASSAN FAHEL D.O.

Dr. Ghassan Fahel is a Board Certified Osteopathic Family Medicine Physician that graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences.

After graduating Cum Laude he completed his training at NOVA/Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During his Family Medicine Residency, he Co-founded a medical housecall service.

For years, Dr. Fahel performed medical housecalls to the South Florida community. In 2004, along with his wife and business partner, Tania Camacho, they co-founded MboD Medical Spa & Clinic to provide a comprehensive medical service. MboD Medical is the realization of a vision to provide a comprehensive medical facility for South Floridians and visitors looking for a Family Physician.

TANIA CAMACHO

CO-FOUNDER

Tania Camacho is an accomplished Jazz singer that traveled across three continents entertaining audiences with her beautiful voice. It is during these travels that she realized the importance of having access to reliable medical care. As she transitioned from a musical career, she co-founded MboD Medical, which provides medical services to the tourist industry.

Her “user experience” shaped the MboD Medical business model and has helped translate that knowledge into software technology for the travel medical industry. Her ability to present the user’s needs in a practical and simple manner has resulted in development of software solutions for MboD Medical. It is this creativity that continues to guide the MboD Medical Spa management team.
