OUR CLINIC

Are you tired of wasting half a day to see a doctor? Is it impossible to communicate with your doctor by phone, email or text? MboD Medical Spa was founded in 2005 to help resolve these patient complaints. Our online registration reduces paperwork. Patient appointments are on time, all the time. We do not double or triple book time slots. Dr. Fahel communicates with each patient via email, text or mobile phone. And our medical office is beautifully appointed to make your experience pleasant.

Here’s what our patients are saying:

Dr. Fahel is truly a modern doctor. I have had 3 appointments with him and each time, it's just a pleasure. He doesn't make you feel rushed; rather, he's patient and holistic in his approach. He cares about your health.

What's more, he encourages you to e-mail him for referrals, and he gets back to you in a timely manner.

I can't say enough about the atmosphere. Imagine a doctors visit in a zen room, with relaxing music and modern, but warm furniture. That's what you get. But the best part is it doesn't take away anything from Dr. Fahel's approach.

I would highly recommend you give this place a try.

“Dr Fahel and his staff are the most organized and attentive general practitioners office Ive ever meet. I was very dissapointed with most of the doctors Ive dealt with in my adult life. Usually a quick fix and some antibiotics was always the solution without paying much attention to what might really be the problem.

“FIRST RATE PROFESSIONAL”
Appointments are very easy to set up. Wait time is really minimal 5 minutes has been the longest I ever had to wait. Courteous and professionalism at all times. Ease of contacting doctor Fahel is incredible, he is set up to respond very quickly to email, TXT or phone requests for appointments and/or prescription refills.

Well I found Dr Fahel and I am so happy with the way he handles his practice. It is all handled professionally electronically and efficiently. As a business executive I have limited time and I am usually on the go. Dr Fahel met me on time and his office is state of the art with a spa like atmoshpere. I was very impressed. I look forward to many more years of beng his patiennt. Thank You Dr Fahel

I went online to find me a new Doctor. I was not happy with my current one. I searched for a Doctor who was my approx my age so that we could grow old together. My previous Dr was in his later years and I felt that soon I would need a new one anyway.

Most reviewers that write really strong recommendations are giving into exaggeration or don't have a good perspective. I'm not into hyperbole so I'll say this absolutely straight: I don't know if MboD is the best doctor's office in the country, but I think it's a distinct possibility, and for sure it's by far the best I've ever personally experienced.

Having had several doctors as I've moved around the country here is what I expect a normal appointment to be:

- You wait 5 minutes in a drab waiting room full of sick people.
- A receptionist calls you up and gives you paperwork to fill out. The paperwork is lengthy and redundant, often several questions are asked more than once on different pages.
- You wait 10-15 minutes in the waiting room while they file your paperwork and determine your copay
- A reception calls you up and you pay your copay
- You're led to an exam room by a receptionist
- You wait 5 minutes trying to stave off the boredom by reading the tacky motivational posters
- A nurse comes and takes your vitals
- You wait 5 minutes and start counting the number of cue-tips in the jar
- A nurse practitioner (not really a doctor, but pretty close) comes in and asks about your symptoms. They poke/prod you as needed then write out a prescription, half explain what they think you have and what the prescription should do
- You drive to the nearest pharmacy and get your prescription
- In total you spend 30-45 minutes waiting and 3-4 minutes with a nurse practitioner who only half listens and only half explains. They also have an annoying habit of only wanting to discuss the major issue you're having and don't want to spend time answering any minor questions you have that aren't related to it ("hey doc, while I'm here...").

MboD is SUCH A BETTER EXPERIENCE.

Several months ago I developed a bad rash on my face and treated it with over the counter ointments for a few days. It continued to get worse so I google'd the nearest doctor (I had just moved to the area) and saw "medical spa" and assumed they didn't do normal doctor's appointments, but since they were the closest to my apartment I gave them a call and to my surprise they said they'd be happy to see me and that they accepted Aenta.

I walked in to a beautiful, clean, spa-like waiting room with only one person waiting to be seen. The receptionist greeted me with a smile, greeted me with "you must be Doug", took my insurance card and gave me a very reasonably sized form to fill out with my medical history (no duplicate questions!), she (imagine this...) determined my copay while I filled out my medical history so that 5 minutes later when I gave her my completed forms she already knew my copay and took it right then. I didn't even make it back to my seat when the doctor, himself, came out to greet me and walk me back to the exam room. The doctor himself took my vitals while he asked me about my symptoms. He took a picture of the rash in case he needed to reference it later. He asked me several followup questions and really seemed to care about making sure he understood my answers. Then he explained what he thought the rash was, what he was going to prescribe me, and how quickly I should expect it to take effect. To boot he gave me his personal email address and told me he wanted me to update him in a few days. The whole thing took 15 minutes, most of which was because the doctor took the time to really listen to me and to fully explain things. A few days later the rash had cleared up and when I emailed him and he replied in under an hour.

If this seems too good to be true I don't really know what to say. I've been back twice since then (once for an annual exam and once for a cough). Both times I was seen (by the doctor himself) within minutes of walking in the door and found him to be equally attentive and thorough as the first time.

Since he accepts my Aetna insurance the price is the same as any other doctor. So it's a no brainer.

Wow wow wow...this guy is good. Dr. Fahel gives a very comprehensive examination. He takes his time to ask lots of questions, and answers any questions you might have in a very relaxed manner. His office is a medical spa, which is basically a doctors office in a spa atmosphere.

There was no wait for my appointment, and while the visit was not cheap if you dont have insurance ($225), I felt every penny was well spent.

If you have unresolved medical issues, this is just the type of doctor that can figure out whats wrong with you. Very refreshing to find a doctor like him. Oh, and he does housecalls too!!
